What We Offer
Basecamp Academy provides professional safety training for:
  • ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicles)
  • UTVs (Utility Terrain Vehicles / Side-by-Sides)
Training is led by a certified Canada Safety Council instructor with over a decade of real-world experience on ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles.
Instructor Certifications Include:
  • Canada Safety Council Certified (ATV & UTV)
  • 80-Hour Wilderness First Responder
  • Canadian Motorized Backcountry Guide Association
  • H2S Alive & CSTS Certified
  • Fully mobile – training can be provided on your worksite
 
Training Options
🔹 1. Commercial Safety Training – Calgary Yard
Location: NW Calgary
Price: $275 per person (min. 4 participants)
🔹 2. Commercial Safety Training – Ghost Lake or McLean Creek
Price: $300 per person (min. 6 participants)
Both courses include hands-on instruction designed to improve rider safety, vehicle awareness, and risk management in a work environment.

  4. Vehicle Controls & Proper Riding Posture
  5. Starting, Shifting, & Braking

  7. Riding Strategies (SIPDE Method)
  8. Handling Obstacles & Rough Terrain
  9. U-Turns & K-Turns on Hills
  10. Traversing Hills
  11. Winching Techniques
  12. Safe Loading & Unloading
  13. Environmental Responsibility
  14. Final Review & Wrap-Up
🔹 3. Commercial Training + Team-Building Ride
Location: Ghost Lake or McLean Creek
Price: $500 per person (min. 4 participants)
Includes the full training course plus a guided backcountry ride to reinforce learning and build team cohesion in real-world terrain.
🔹 4. On-Site Commercial Training

Price: $300 per person + travel & accommodation
